Norm and Natalie Tremblay established Jenn Trucking Ltd in October, 1994. Previous to the start of the company, Norm farmed in Falher, Alberta while working in the Oilfield Transportation Industry. His locations of work included Whitecourt, Red Earth, Zama, Rainbow Lake and Fort Nelson. During this time, he also obtained his Heavy Duty Mechanics license, knowledge that would come to use in the future years to come. “I started with 2 trucks that I drove myself” says Norm. From a small start of 2 trucks/1 driver to a currently growing fleet of 7 trucks, 6 lease operators and a staff consisting of drivers, swampers, a shop mechanic and office personnel, Jenn Trucking Ltd has definitely expanded.

Jenn Trucking Ltd’s success can be attributed to a lot of hard work, persistence and dedication. Norm is involved in every aspect of his operation from dispatching, equipment maintenance, safety and billing- he knows what is going on. “I drove a truck up until 2005” comments Norm who now takes care of the 24 hour dispatch. It is no wonder, from personal hands-on experience that he knows what kind of training his employees need- and he sees to it that they receive it. Jenn Trucking Ltd also uses the latest advances in technology- trucking specific software for dispatch/accounting and route tracking devices on the trucks. “The bottom line is our clients- technology and education are well worth investing in if it provides our clients with better service.”

Offering a full line of equipment including bed trucks, pickers, winch/winchless tractors, hiboys/lowboys, boosters and trombones, Jenn Trucking Ltd is equipped to handle a wide range of light and heavy oilfield service hauling. Primarily operating in Alberta and Northern BC, the company also has operating authority for the United States and Saskatchewan. Whether you require one load or many loads, a short distance haul or a long distance haul, Jenn Trucking Ltd has the equipment and trained employees to get the job done correctly in an efficient, time and cost-effective manner.

Jenn Trucking Ltd is conveniently located on an 8 acre lot in the McRae Industrial Park on the north end of Grande Prairie. The fenced, secured yard contains a 3200 sq. ft. shop, plug-in power units and has space available to rent on a short term or long term basis.
